* S1/c Don Roban, USCG on the PF-69, notes on his web site that, "This is also a good opportunity to say thanks to the wonderful people of Davenport, Iowa, for which our ship was named. These wonderful people sent us gifts and books that helped us pass many lonely hours at sea."
